"I don't need to curl up, wither, or hide in order to protect myself. I have a proper shield in place. The ones who can live in harmony with me, not taking too much are free to come in to take what I offer. The ones who would come in too fast, or try to take more than I am offering will learn quickly. That has a prickly outcome.
I show care and respect. And so should listen when she says, take all you need. The lesson was clear. Abundance can exist at the very same time as mindful stewardship. Over the past year of working intensively with the spirit of Marigold, she has been changing the settings of my first chakra. Redefining my relationship to abundance.
I find it fitting that the plants I was putting off working with because I just couldn't get grounded and clear on what direction to take were coming to show me how to get grounded and clear and to show me what direction to take...
As a person who tends to live a lot in my upper chakras, is very cerebral and wants to "figure everything out" this was such an important lesson to learn and these plants are helping me to truly come into my body, rather than just thinking about it.

When you let your heart lead, there is no need to hang on to the weight of experiences, negative emotions or dense energy. The heart can feel & process & let go. This is different from when the mind is in charge.
My experience of Henbit was that she has such a mellow countenance. Kind and helpful while completely at peace with what she is here to do. My strongest take away from Henbit is that very grounded sense of being clear on what is "for me to do" opposed to concerning myself with outcomes and experiences that are just not "for me" to worry with.
